Firefighters worked to free a horse from a ditch containing water at a farm in Butley.
Three fire engines – one from Orford and two from Princes Street – were called to the scene of an animal rescue at Ferry Farm in Butley.
Firefighters were called shortly before 10.30am today with reports of a horse stuck in a ditch containing water.
The horse was rescued from the ditch at 12.15pm, and was left in the care of its owner and vet.
