Police are investigating

A house in Mersea Road, Colchester has been burgled.

The incident happened sometime between 4pm on Friday, May 22 and 7am on Monday, May 25, when thieves removed the rear gates of the property, and smashed a window to gain access.

Investigating officer Dc Tim Harris, said: “It is likely a number of offenders with a van or large vehicle would have been involved in this burglary and I am appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious or who have seen a large number of tiles being unloaded to get in touch.”
