The Ministry of Justice are planning to close the Bury court, after 400 years of justice in the town.
The consultation on the plans to close 91 courts across the country, including in Bury and Lowestoft, runs until October 8.
To join our Justice for Bury campaign and fight against the proposals, you can sign the EADT petition here.
To tell the Ministry of Justice what you think, you can download the full proposal from the Ministry of Justice website and respond to their questionnaire here.
The plans can be viewed under the heading “Proposal on the provision of court & tribunal services in the South East (annex e)”.
