THE hunt is continuing for the driver of a blue BMW who reportedly picked up murdered prostitute Anneli Alderton on Thursday.
At this morning's press conference, DCS Stewart Gull said he understood that the information had been provided to police through the press via a vice girl.
Anneli, 24, who was found strangled at Nacton on Sunday afternoon, was said to have been seen getting into the car, which was driven by a man with a chubby face and spectacles.
He added: “We have got this message, but clearly we need to find that girl now and establish the facts.”
