Police have released a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with an assault in Colchester.
A 23-year-old man’s jaw was broken in the attack, which took place at about 3am on Sunday, October 1.
It happened after he and friends left a bar in Queen’s Street.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries and has since been discharged.
The suspect fled the scene following the assault.
Police would like to talk to the man shown in a CCTV image from the night of the assault.
