An independent cycle shop in Sudbury has donated a £200 voucher for a prize draw that participants of the town’s Women on Wheels 20 or 50-mile rides will be entered into.

Women on Wheels (WoW) Sudbury will take place on Sunday, September 17, with a choice of a 5, 20, or 50-mile route through countryside and cycle paths around Sudbury.

Torque Bikes will support the event, starting at Acton Village Hall, following the success of last year’s Women on Wheels ride – which saw more than 100 women and girls taking part.

Leighton Taylor, owner of Torque Bikes in Sudbury, said: “We are delighted to be once again supporting WoW Sudbury especially after the success of last year’s event.”

The event is open to women and girls aged eight and over of all abilities. Entry is £20 for the 20 and 50-mile ride and £5 for the 5-mile ride.
