PETROL prices pushed up inflation for the first time since February last month, official figures showed today.
The Consumer Prices Index rose to 1.5% last month from 1.1% in September, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
The main reason behind the jump is the continuing increase in petrol prices.
