NO sooner had the Lakeside Hammers side returned to a seven man team than the injury jinx has hit again.

Hard on the heels of losing Stuart Robson and Robert Mear on Thursday at the away Sky Sports Elite League fixture at Swindon, Sunday saw new No.1, Lee Richardson, sustain a knee injury whilst racing in Poland.

Although the full state of the injury to Richardson is not yet known he will not race for the Hammers in their Sky Sports Elite League match at Wolverhampton on Monday. His place will be taken by Edward Kennett of Coventry.

Stuart Robson made a successful return to action over the weekend and will ride against the Wolves at No.7 whilst Phil Morris comes in for Robert Mear, who is expected to be on the sidelines for at least a fortnight.
