POLICE are appealing for information after an inmate escaped from a minimum security prison.Paul Greening, 37, who is serving a six year sentence after the revocation of his licence for theft, disappeared from Hollesley Bay, near Woodbridge, on Saturday.

Paul Greening, 37, who is serving a six year sentence after the revocation of his licence for theft, disappeared from Hollesley Bay, near Woodbridge, on Saturday.

He is described as white, with a weathered complexion, 6ft tall, of average build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

He has a scar on his forehead, tattoos on both arms and has connections with the Coventry area.

Officers are warning people not to approach Greening and to call 999 immediately if they spot him.
