An inquest into the death of a pedestrian who was killed after he was in collision with a car has been opened and adjourned.
Richard Cook, 56, of Pot Kiln Road, Great Cornard, died at the scene of Monday's night accident in Kings Hill, in the village.
His family paid tribute to Mr Cook as a caring man who “lived life to the full”. His inquest was this afternoon opened and adjourned at Bury St Edmunds Police Station with a full hearing held in due course.
