AN inquest has been opened into the death of a 16-year-old girl who was found in her bedroom in west Suffolk.
Rebecca Watkins was unconscious when emergency services arrived at a property in Bury Road, Brandon, at around 11pm on June 16.
Despite efforts to resuscitate her, the teenager later died at the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
The inquest was formally opened at the coroner's office at Bury St Edmunds police station yesterday, but has been adjourned to a later date, which has yet to be fixed.
