Engineers were working to restore power to 114 customers in the Norwich Road area.
The power cut affected nearly 800 homes shortly before 8pm tonight following an underground cable fault. The majority of supplies were restored by 8.35pm. Some customers experienced flickering supplies whilst repair work continues. A spokesperson for UK Power Networks said: “We appreciate how difficult it is to be without electricity.”
