The Wimbledon Men’s single final between Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic will be shown on a big screen at Ipswich Music Day today.

Thousands of people are expected to flock to Christchurch Park for the annual music celebration event this afternoon, and tennis fans can roar on Murray to his second Grand Slam title at the Upper Arboretum (Henley Road entrance).

An Ipswich Borough Council spokesman said the big screen showing of the hotly-anticipated clash will be free, with strawberries and cream on sale to add to the occasion.

Ipswich Music Day starts at noon and finishes at 8pm.

Coverage of today’s final starts at 12.50pm. It is expected to start at 2pm.
