POLICE in Ipswich are appealing for information following a robbery in the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened between 12.45am and 1am in Hadleigh Road.

A police spokesman said: “A 20-year-old man was walking towards the junction with Allenby Road when a group of five men approached him. He was pushed to the ground and his mobile phone was stolen.

“The victim was not injured from the incident.”

The offenders are described as five men, all aged in their twenties and were wearing dark jeans and dark hooded tops.
