POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a robbery took place last night in Ipswich.

The incident happened in an alleyway entrance to Alexandra Park in Back Hamlet at about 9.45pm.

The male victim was walking through the alleyway when a man from behind called out. The victim turned around and was confronted by three men. One of the men pushed him and his wallet was stolen. The victim was not injured from the incident.

The first offender is described as a tall white man, of a stocky build, mid twenties and was wearing a dark hooded top and carrying a blue carrier bag.

The second offender is described as a white man, of a stocky build and was wearing a dark hooded top.

The third offender is described as a white man, of a slim build, mid twenties and was wearing a dark hooded top with a reflective square pattern on the shoulder.
