A 31-year-old man was arrested at the weekend in relation to a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Ipswich, after which the car failed to stop at the scene.
The incident happened in Nacton Road, at the junction for Bishops Hill, at about 9pm on Friday.
The motorcycle rider suffered a broken leg and pelvis and was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital for treatment.
A car involved in the collision, a black Volkswagen Golf, failed to stop at the scene.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said at the weekend that a man was arrested in relation to the incident.
