An avid marathon runner who is taking part in her ninth race next month has said it will be the most special yet.
Not only is 45-year-old Chris Drury hoping to achieve a personal best and complete the 26.2-mile London Marathon course in under four hours, but she will also be running on her 46th bithday.
Chris, pictured, is running the marathon on April 21 in aid of Ormiston Children and Families Trust, based in Felixstowe Road, and hopes to raise £1,500.
She said: “Ormiston is such a great charity, it is a local charity and helps make a difference to local children and their families in whatever way it can.”
