FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a skip fire which broke out on Ipswich’s Waterfront this evening.
The crew from Princes Street fire station were alerted at 9.11pm to the blaze, close to The Last Anchor restaurant.
A spokesman for the fire brigade said the crew discovered the skip was “well alight” on arrival.
Using two hose reel jets they had the fire under control by 9.36pm.
