Suffolk Constabulary’s traffic officers are keeping an eye out for speeding motorists today.

The force has units stationed in the county town of Ipswich, in picturesque parts of south Suffolk and as far north as Lowestoft.

A tweet from the Norfolk and Suffolk Safety Camera and Central Ticket Office’s account, which regularly lists speed camera locations, alerted motorists to their positions this morning.

In Ipswich areas being patrolled during the day will include the A1214, Pinewood, and Henley Road.

Drivers in Brantham will also see a speed camera stationed in the area, as will people travelling along the A1092 between Long Melford and Stoke-by-Clare, the B1061 in Great Bradley and the A143 between Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds.

There will also be officers checking speeds in Holton St Mary, on the B1070, and Witnesham, on the B1077.

Further north the A12 will be under scrutiny around Lowestoft and Kessingland, along with roads in Beccles and Bungay.

In Mid Suffolk, Great Finborough and Eye are the locations which will get a visit from speed cameras during the day.
