FIREFIGHTERS were called to help a resident with health issues after a home was filled with smoke.
Crews were called to a property in Shetland Close, Ipswich, at 6.30pm following reports of a fire alarm sounding.
A spokesman for the brigade said the resident could not leave the property because of health issues.
Crews ventilated the property and the resident was assessed by the ambulance service. The incident was dealt with by 6.40pm.
