A two-car crash occurred in Valley Road this morning, Suffolk Police and Fire Service reported.
A black Rene Twingo collided with a green Fiat Punto at approximately 9.30am and initially officers believed there was a fire at the scene.
One driver, a male, suffered minor injuries but neither drivers were trapped by in their vehicles.
There was no fire to contend with and both cars have been safely cleared from the road.
