Engineers have restored the power to 114 customers in the Norwich Road area after 800 homes were left without power last night.
The power cut hit shortly before 8pm last night following an underground cable fault.
The majority of supplies were restored by 8.35pm. Some customers experienced flickering supplies whilst repair work continued.
A spokesperson for UK Power Networks said: “We appreciate how difficult it is to be without electricity.”
The power supplies were restored to all customers by 10.17pm.
