An Ipswich man has been charged in connection with a collision in north-east Essex in June.
Darrell Lambert, of Hawke Road, answered bail today, an Essex Police spokesman said.
The 27-year-old was charged with driving while disqualified, drink driving, failing to stop after a road accident, failing to report a road accident, driving without due care and attention and having no insurance.
The charges relate to a collision which happened in Wignall Street, Lawford, on June 12, which involved a BMW colliding with a wall.
Lambert has been released on bail to appear before magistrates in Colchester on December 17.
