FORMER Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane is the joint second wealthiest manager in British football according to a new rich list.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has retained his position at the top of the tree with a fortune of £34million, according to the Sunday Times Sport Rich List.

However, Keane and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger are ranked joint second, worth £29million, ahead of Manchester City’s Roberto Mancini at £21million.

Keane is currently working as a pundit with ITV after being sacked by Town in 2011.

The fourth annual guide to the wealthiest people in British sport rates Lewis Hamilton, now worth £60million, at the top of the rich list.

Hamilton stays narrowly ahead of Jenson Button, who has also added £5million to his fortune in the last year and is now worth £58million.
