Firefighters battled a blaze which saw a car completely engulfed in flames.
Two fire crews were called to the town’s Stratford Road after flames quickly caught hold of a car shortly before 4.25am yesterday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said that the car was found well alight and that crews tackled the flames using a hose reel jet.
She said the incident was bought under control within ten minutes and crews then left the scene.
