FIRE crews have been called to a house fire in Ipswich this evening.
Crews from Ipswich East and Princes Street were sent to the fire in Felix Road, Ipswich at 7.56pm.
Firefighters found the first floor of the house well alight and used hosereels and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
A second appliance from Princes Street was requested and investigations of the roof void with the adjoining properties carried out.
Firefighters got the fire under control by 8.31pm, ventilated the house and used a thermal image camera to check for hot spots.
