FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a fire in an Ipswich park this evening.
A crew from Princes Street went to the blaze in what is believed to be a scout hut in Landseer Park at 8.45pm.
They arrived to find a sofa well alight but managed to get the flames under control using a hosereel jet.
Fire officers stayed on scene to check for any further damage and left the scene just before 9.10pm.
