FIREFIGHTERS in Ipswich have tackled a blaze which took hold of a car parked in an Ipswich street.
The fire broke out at around 9.30pm in The Drift, off Nacton Road.
A crew from headquarters in Colchester Road and another from Princes Street were alerted.
They discovered the car alight and firefighters used breathing equipment to help them fight the flames.
The incident was under control by 9.45pm.
