Firefighters were called to a blaze in the kitchen of a house in Ipswich.
One crew from Ipswich East and one from Princes Street were sent to the scene in Queensway at about 5.45pm.
On arrival the crews discovered a small fire in the kitchen and the property was ventilated.
Firefighters returned to their base at about 6.30pm.
