FIREFIGHTERS were called to a playing area after a teenager became entangled in the chains of a swing.
The drama unfolded at a children’s play area in Holly Lodge Park in Bramford Lane at 6.35pm and a call was made to the emergency services.
A crew from Princes Street Fire Station arrived at the scene at 6.52pm.
Firefighters took less than 15 minutes to help free the youth from the swing before heading back to their base by 7.11pm.
