There were huge crowds on Ipswich’s Waterfront over the weekend as the Food and Drink Festival was held as part of the Food Forknight.
A wide range of delicious dishes were on offer at a host of stalls lining Orwell Quay while local chefs were joined by the likes of Jean Christophe Novelli to give demonstrations. There were also seminars on cooking and baking and tasting sessions.
Carole Jones, economic development portfolio-holder at Ipswich Borough Council, said: “This is a big date in the Ipswich calendar and offers yet another reason for thousands of people to visit our Waterfront and also explore the town centre.”
There was also a food and drink market, beer festival and plenty of entertainment for children.
