People will be able to enjoy an evening of gospel this month to celebrate Easter.

It will take place at the Ipswich International Church in Barrack Corner, Ipswich, on March 23.

The Ipswich Community Gospel Choir will be putting on the performance and the evening will also feature the new praise group, Garments of Praise.

Andrew Rayner, the gospel choir’s co- director said: “The choir wants to share the good news that Christ is risen with the people of Ipswich, so we are encouraging everyone to come along and help us raise the roof with celebration praise and also raise funds for two great causes.”

The performance is free for people to attend and the doors will open at 7.30pm. Retiring donations are welcome and they will go to the British Heart Foundation and the Talitha Koum Project.
