An on-the-run prisoner has been arrested by police after he went missing from a charity work placement.
John Jackson, 48, who was serving an indeterminate sentence for aggravated burglary, home burglary and robbery, was dropped off for his placement in Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, at around 8.40am on Thursday May 16.
A police spokeswoman said officers had arrested Jackson in Ipswich this morning (May 25).
He has been taken into custody at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where he will be interviewed by officers before being returned to prison.
