An inquest on the death of Ipswich woman Tracey Kingwell was opened and adjourned today at IP-City.
Ms Kingwell was found hanged in woodland near Bobbitt’s Lane in Ipswich on February 25 this year.
A statement read at the inquest said Ms Kingwell had a history of mental health issues and had tried to take her own life before.
Senior assistant coroner for Suffolk Kevin McCarthy said he would adjourn the inquest so further enquiries could be carried out.
The inquest was told 28-year-old Ms Kingwell had gone missing from her home in Wherstead Road on February 24.
Her partner had contacted the police after receiving a number of calls from people concerned for her welfare.
Ms Kingwell’s body was discovered the next day by a member of the public.
