POLICE in Ipswich have arrested a man in connection with an attempted armed robbery at shop in the town.
A 36-year-old-man from Kesgrave was arrested earlier today on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
A spokesman said: “He is due to return to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on January 9 2013.
“The arrest is in connection with an attempted armed robbery at the Spar shop in Woodbridge Road, Ipswich which happened at around 9.45pm on Monday October 22.”
Police are still keen to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. Calls should be made to Ipswich CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
