Ipswich: Man charged with wounding with intent in connection with Witney Close stabbing

POLICE have today charged a man with wounding with intent in connection with a stabbing in Ipswich.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent after a man was stabbed in Witney Close, Ipswich on Friday, April 6.

Ian Starkie of Cranwell Crescent, Ipswich was arrested on the same day and subsequently released on police bail.

He has today due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court this afternoon.

Four further people who were due to return on bail today in relation to this incident have had their bail cancelled and there will be no further action.
