The trial of an Ipswich man accused of downloading child porn is expected to take place in January.
Before Ipswich Crown Court today, Monday, September 17, for a plea and trial preparation hearing was Christopher Ridyard, 57, of Irlam Close, Ipswich, who pleaded not guilty to three offences of making indecent images of children between November 29, 2017, and January 17, 2018.
On a scale of A to C, with level A being the most serious, nine of the images were at level A, six were at level B and 18 were at level C.
The case was adjourned until next year when Ridyard’s trial is expected to get underway during a two week warned list commencing January 7.
