Ipswich man Douglas Skinner, 67, dies following collision between cherry-picker and lorry in Felixstowe

A man who is thought to have fallen from a cherry-picker after it was in a collision with a lorry has died.

Douglas Skinner, 67, was flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge after the accident in Walton Avenue, Felixstowe, on Friday.

Suffolk police confirmed today that Mr Skinner, who was from Ipswich, died on Sunday.

A joint investigation into the collision is being held by Suffolk Constabulary and the Health and Safety Executive.

Anyone with information is asked to call the serious collision investigation team on 101.
