POLICE are appealing for information following a robbery in Ipswich yesterday.
The incident happened in the foyer of a communal flat in Franciscan Way at around 9.30am.
Two offenders standing in the entrance threatened a 24-year-old man with a small knife.
An amount of cash was stolen from the victim. The offenders ran off into the street towards Cromwell Square.
The victim was not injured from the incident.
The first offender is described as a man of African Caribbean appearance, between 5ft 7in and 5ft 8in, aged late teens to early twenties, with braided hair and wearing a dark-coloured hooded tracksuit top and black trainers.
The second offender is described as a white man, between 6ft 1in and 6ft 2in, of a very slim build and with brown eyes. He appeared to have a broken nose and was wearing a dark coloured flat-peak hat, a hooded tracksuit top with matching tracksuit bottoms and dark-coloured trainers.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to call Ipswich Priority Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
