An Ipswich boy who sparked fears after he went missing after school yesterday was found safe and well last night, police have said.

James Lambert, 13, was due to be collected after school at Mallard Way, Ipswich, at 3.20pm yesterday but failed to turn up.

Police launched an appeal to trace him and last night a member of the public found him at St Catherines Court, Ipswich, at around 11.55pm.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said he was “safe and well”.
