Firefighters were called to tackle an "unbearable" blaze in a mobile home near Ipswich.
Crews were called to the fire in Bealings Road, Martlesham, just before 11.45pm on Thursday, May 12.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said on arrival crews found the fire was about 30m x 20m.
The spokeswoman confirmed that there were no casualties and firefighters were dampening down the scene on Friday morning.
Daniel Leighton alerted the fire service when he saw the blaze as he was driving past.
He said he got out of his car and ran towards the mobile home to see if anyone was inside.
"I banged on the door of the house next door while ringing 999 and got him out," he said.
"I still wasn't sure at this point if anyone was inside the burning building, but I couldn't get close enough as flames came too high too fast and the heat got unbearable.
"Me and another guy who past by helped get the cars out of the garage before that went up as well."
Mr Leighton said the fire service arrived quickly and praised them for their efforts.
A 'stop' call was made at 1.30am on Friday by the fire service.
Appliances from Ipswich East and Woodbridge were called to tackle the incident.
