Ipswich: Monument Farm Lane closed as damaged telephone pole causes obstruction

A damaged telephone pole has closed Monument Farm Lane.

The telephone pole is leaning on the branches of an oak tree.

Police were called to the incident at 10.15am, and a force spokesman said there was danger the pole could fall on the road.

BT engineers are on the scene and the incident is currently being dealt with.
