Police are expected to give an update on a murder investigation launched in Ipswich shortly as they speak to the media at the scene of the attack.
A teenager was stabbed to death in broad daylight on Saturday, after walking back from shops in Queen’s Way.
The victim, who has now been formally identified as 17-year-old Tavis Spencer-Aitkens, was killed in what is believed to be a “targeted” attack.
Police launched a murder investigation last night after confirming that the teenager had died from his injuries.
Detectives are continuing to question a 41-year-old man on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident.
Officers announced this afternoon that they have also arrested a further four men, aged 16, 18, 20 and 22, on suspicion of conspiracy to murder in connection with the attack.
The four were detained in Essex and will now be brought back to Suffolk for questioning.
Representatives from the force will be giving an update on the investigation from around 4pm today.
