A man who was arrested in Cambridgeshire after failing to appear in court in Ipswich is due to stand trial for 15 burglary offences.
Thomas Gilheaney had been due before a jury charged with 15 alleged burglary offences committed over a six-month period across Suffolk, Norfolk, Staffordshire, Leicestershire and Bedfordshire in 2008 and 2009.
The 20-year-old was detained by Cambridgeshire Police on the A14 at Fenstanton on Monday, December 13 and was taken to Ipswich Crown Court where he was remanded in custody.
Gilheaney will now stand trial for the burglary offences on May 9 at Ipswich Crown Court.
