POLICE are appealing for information after an eight-year-old girl was grabbed by a man while walking to school in Ipswich.
The girl was walking along Cedarcroft Road, Ipswich at about 8.30am on Tuesday, September 11 and came to the junction with Burke Road.
A man approached her, grabbed her wrist and tried to pull her across the road. She got free and ran to the nearby school.
The offender is described as a black man, of a thin build, about 5ft 6ins, with short black hair and aged 30 to 40. He was wearing a dark blue polo shirt and brown knee length shorts.
