DETECTIVES have been granted another 36 hours to question three men and a woman arrested in connection with a murder in Ipswich.
The men, aged 28, 37 and 51 and the 36-year-old woman, all from Ipswich, remain in police custody at Ipswich police station.
They were arrested following the discovery of a man’s body on Christmas Day at Pipers Court, in Old Foundry Road.
A Suffolk police spokesman said officers are continuing their inquiries to identify and locate the man’s next of kin. He added: “I can confirm that the three men and one woman remain in police custody this afternoon. “Suffolk Police applied for a custody extension at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates this morning, which was subsequently granted. Police have a further 36 hours from 10.25am this morning to conduct interviews.”
Police are continuing to appeal for information regarding the investigation. Calls should be made to Suffolk Police on 01473 613500.
