The police helicopter has been over Ipswich earlier today following a report someone had been making threats to staff at a business in Princes Street.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said they were called at 12.25pm about the incident, adding the person - a male - is known to staff.
She said the area had been searched, but he has not yet been found.
