Ipswich: Police issue description of man wanted in connection with London Road stabbing

Police investigating the stabbing of a man in Ipswich have released a description of his attacker.
Initially, officers described the wound to the victim’s back as potentially life-threatening after he was stabbed on Tuesday at around 8.15pm.
However, the 42-year-old - who lives nearby - has now been discharged from Ipswich Hospital after treatment.
Police have spoken to the victim and checked CCTV in the area as the exact location where the stabbing took place remains unclear.
A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said: “We believe it actually occurred in London Road near to the junction with Benezet Street.
“Two witnesses have been spoken to and have given the following description of the offender.
“He is a white male, aged between 18-29, of slim build, around 6ft to 6ft 1in tall and has dark brown hair.
