Ipswich: Renewed appeals after motorcyclist remains in a critical condition

Renewed appeals have been made for information following a serious road traffic collision in Ipswich, yesterday afternoon, Wednesday April 24.

Emergency services; police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene of the two vehicle collision in Shepherd Drive, Ipswich, involving a silver Vauxhall Astra estate car and a black motorcycle shortly before 3.30pm.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 30s from Ipswich, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital with life threatening injuries, where he remains in a critical condition.

Anyone who was in the area and saw the two vehicles prior to or when the collision occurred are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
