The soft toy was found by staff at the newly-reopened multi-storey car park in Ipswich and they have named her Jewel after the unicorn in the children’s classic “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.”

Despite postings on social media has not been claimed by its owner or their parents.

Meanwhile, staff have been looking after Jewel, and showing her around the new facility.

Manager Sarah Gilson said: “We are sure the owner must miss Jewel and we would love to give her back. We are taking good care of the unicorn as she is a very rare animal and we do hope Star readers will help us reunite her with the owner.”

Anyone who knows who owns the unicorn can get in touch with Sarah at parking.management@ipswich.gov.uk – in the meantime she is being kept safe by staff in the council’s car parks office.
